Coin hunting at the beach
Do you like digging for the bottle caps as much, as I do? Actually, every beach digging results mainly in those caps. I know some guys, who don’t even go to the beach for digging: “What can you find there, there are only caps”. Still, any time, when I come to the beach for having some rest, especially early in the morning or in the evening, I see some colleagues, wandering around the beach and searching for the lost coins and jewelry.
In fact I always recommend the newcomers to do their first steps in searching exactly at the beaches! The beach will teach you to understand and use your device, will give the understanding of the searching techniques, and will teach you the basics, which later can be used for the searches in the forests and fields.
What do people lose at the beaches, and what can be found there? Mainly the modern coins – they simply fall out from the pockets and wallets of the relaxed people. Besides the coins you can find the jewelry – rings, earrings, chains. Precious and non-precious. There were some stories, when the diggers found the rings worth USD 13000!
For the beach digging I’d recommend the simplest metal detector, maybe even your first one, whether it is GarrettACE, FisherF22-44, or even BountyHunter.
