Wireless Headphones From The Makro Racer 2 Fit On The Nokta Impact! (+News About The Update)
Did you know that the wireless headphones from Makro Racer fit the metal detector Nokta Impact? The “Lifehack” is simple:
If you have headphones from Makro Racer 2, then just take and connect them without a module from the Racer 2 directly to the metal detector Nokta Impact, selecting channels by pressing the buttons on the headphones.
The box itself with headphones from Makro.
On the photo in the box, you can see the wireless module for the Makro Racer 2 metal detector (in the center) and the headphones themselves.
The headphones, by the way, are very convenient and work through WiFi, which means the speed of sound transmission and its quality is high! What is the minus of all the FM/AM modules, and even Bluetooth ones? It has a weak transmission rate of the response and lack of transmission with a short sound signal (for example, from a weak deep signal). Naturally, wired headphones with a resistance of 100 Ohm is the best option, but the wires often get in the way during detecting, so I tried different versions of the headphones (some I have already thrown into the trash – different Chinese FM options). I can safely say that the headphones from Nokta/Makro stand on the same level as the Garrett Z-Lynk considering the speed of transmission of sounds (minimal and imperceptible delay) and the quality of the transmitted sound (it differs easily and works from the weakest sound signal).
Update To The Nokta Impact
Yes, if the owners of Nokta Impact themselves visited this page, then it’s time to think about updating the detector. Firmware updates are constantly coming out and it may be useful to get an improved firmware for your detector.
A link to the updates and a small guide with screenshots of how to update the Impact you can find here.
Good luck out detecting!
