Self made coil protection for Garrett
Oh yes, when I bought my first Garrett detector I’ve started to think about coil protection. Yes, our ground has a lot of stones in it, so I went to my local MD dealer and asked him about coil protection. He sold it to me for approx $10 and told me, that I will lose some inches in depth. But I do not care, because depth is such weird parameter with every detector and anyway you will get your finds not so deep in the ground for 95% of signals.
But one guy wanted to save money ($10) and invented this! Look at this photos:
I don’t see – is it a cloth or rubber? Interesting solution. Looks like “trust me I’m an Engineer”!
