Intriguing find from the river in Staffordshire (photos+)
Hi all! I am just sharing photos of a fresh spectacular find from UK.
Actually here is a pewter spoon with the woman figure (Aphrodite?) on the top of a handle. It has been found on a shingle island that was midway across the river in Staffordshire. Probably it had been brought there in a strong storm.
While the further investigation is still ongoing in social network I would make kind of assumption that it’s original, but not too old to me and can be dated around 17-18 centuries. Nevertheless, it’s really beautiful find!
