Golden Mask One – 15 kHz and 24 kHz detectors! (New from 2018)

So, it seems that the famous Bulgarian manufacturer of metal detectors Golden Mask is entering the metal detector market for beginners with a digital device! So far there is no data on the price, but they promise that it will be cheap.

There will be two modifications that differ only in search frequency – the version with 15 kHz and the other with 24 kHz. Well, entry-level HFs, a good start for the manufacturer! At the moment, all entry-level metal detectors are manufactured with a low frequency – from 6 kHz to 10 kHz, and here we have 18 kHz. A correct decision, I think.

It can be seen that Golden Mask One has a lot in common with the top digital model – Golden Mask 5+ SE, but the menu and the number of functions have been changed and cut down. I wonder if the wireless headphones will be supplied or if the detector only will work with wired headphones? This is not yet known.

As you can see, the Golden Mask 5+ SE has also undergone some changes, but we’ll write about this later. In the meantime, Golden Mask really surprised us. Everyone knows that the manufacturer had only analog models for beginners, take the same Golden Mask 1+, but now there will be a number on it.

Updated – the settings of the Golden Mask ONE

The settings: It will have pre-set soil balance, and the user will have the following functions: Golden Mask ONE +: Sens, Volume, Audio volume(??), Disc level.
