Finding Roman Gold Coin! (Photos+)
Even though that many people say that all the good fields and the perfect finds are dug up, I do not believe it. On one hand, it’s true, on the other – there are still many places where life once bubbled and people lost coins, buried their goods and hid their jewelry. Everything made of metal can be found and dug up with a metal detector.
Usual story – a guy from the UK, Harry M., walked around on a big British field with his Garrett AT PRO metal detector with the NEL Tornado coil (it’s a great coil to wander around with – it has a wide grip and excellent depth!). He found a signal. He dug it, took up his pinpointer and pulled out such a beautiful gold coin! There was no limit to his happiness!
Naturally, such a find would make one happy and it would be remembered for your whole life. Have you ever found such a coin?
