Cross from the Kievan Rus’ (discovery, price +)
Most recently, there was a unique cross for sale at a diggers antique market. The cross is dating back to Kievan Rus. The cross is partly gold plated, with parts made of silver, and layers with two colors – a unique work of art of the ancient masters.
The cross has a weight of 15.1 grams and the size 55×35 mm. This could only have benn worn by a wealthy man in the first half of the XIII century.
What do you think: how much was this unique work of art sold for? You will not believe it, but the auction price of the cross reached a little more than $ 1,500. This price, of course, was good for the customer, because if the auction had lasted a little longer, the price tag could have reached $ 2000.
