F-Pulse – A New Pinpointer From Fisher Labs! (New 2017, Video, Photos+)
When the news about the new pinpointer from Teknetiks just was processed, the company Fisher immediately released a new pinpointer! Which is not surprising really – both companies are part of the First Texas Products, which also includes the brand Bounty Hunter – by the way, did you know that they are the brand with the most sold metal detectors in the world? They have not yet been beaten by anyone, not even Minelab or Garrett. If you didn’t already know this, then this was your second news of the day!
In general, this pinpointer does not differ too much from the Tek-Point pointer: it has another color, it is more similar to the XP MI6 probe, but can there be differences inside the pointer? We’ll see.
I like both options – both red like the Fisher and green like the Teknethics. It should be a good working probe for the everyday use of a detectorist, no matter who already says what. In addition, it is known that it will be sold cheaper than the underwater pinpointer from Garrett, the well known “carrot”.
What else is known?
So far it is known that pinpointer uses the “impulse” technique, so no salt water or heavy soil will be a problem for it. Is not that enough? Then here’s another thing – this pointer has a “recovery” function. This means that if you leave it switched on in a pit, then five minutes later it will start to sound an alarm to attract attention so that it will be easier to find it.
What do you think about this new pinpointer? Which one do you use now?
