Did XP Detectors steal technology from Minelab? (facts, proof+)
The detecting season ends not only for diggers, but also manufacturers of metal detectors. For them it is time to roll out new products, start improving previous detectors and develop new technologies and systems. But they also are aware about stealing technology, which were spent big sums of money on developing, especially if we are talking about the company Minelab, the famous manufacturer of metal detectors. And we have already heard about Chinese copying different technologies from the American company First Texas Products – Deteknix the Quest detectors – another Chinese fake, and right now we have the Australians fighting for their patent!
How it all began: October 19th Minelab Electronics sued the French company XP Detectors and their overseas partner company from Massachusetts Detector Electronics Corp. Minelab accused the French and their partners for abuse and copying of technology, which is part of a patent owned by Minelab. Naturally, the Australians asked them to cover the costs and to pay compensation, together with legal costs.
The season is in full swing for them. ?What if it suddenly it turns out that Deus will cease to produce and they will be banned, that would be an interesting outcome!?
The proof you can read here.
