Bounty Hunter Junior TID – a new detector for kids!
Who said that detecting is only for adults?? The guys from the Bounty Hunter (1st Texas Products, they control almost one third of the market of metal detectors in the world and they own brands like Bounty Hunter, Fisher and Teknetics – good equipment for its price) have long produced good detectors, and now they are producing metal detectors for kids too! The idea is cool, in fact, for children it is an interesting hobby, instead of playing on computers and smartphones – let the kids run around in fresh air! But what kind of device is this? Let’s look more closely:
It’s basically a little “digging stick” that weighs almost nothing, it works on two AA batteries, which are placed in the handle (interesting solution), it has metal discrimination, a depth indicator, a battery level indicator and three pictures on the display. I would have given the Nobel Prize for such an idea:
Why do you need target ID? Look at those three pictures and enjoy! Sad smile – do not dig, go further. Thoughtful face, dig if you feel so. And happy smile- Dig without doubt (And find a pull-tab;-) )
The guys from BH made a short, but instructional video on how to use the detector:
When I watched the video, i even came up with a smart plan. When you get a kid, and he grows up a little bit, you can go with the whole family to the beach and while you and your wife relax on the beach, the kid runs around and finds “treasures”
Yes, it’s a very simple detector, and you almost don’t even need to think while you are using it. So go ahead and detect with your children, and happy hunting! 😉
